That was a proposal in the 2011 Tentative Agreement and most people on these pages were vehemently opposed to it.
Was that conditioned at the time with ending retiree prefunding and utilizing banked sick hours instead?

The devil will be in the details for the APA Pilots TA . The real ???'s and discussion for FS/MR is how will it effect LCC/AAL Members  working below the wing ? Also, FREEDOM, AW F/S, and US F/S Class 2 Members new it was the BBD and the best CBA they would get with LCC/DP in 2008. Now may WE'LL move forward under the ASSOCIATION for a BBD/JCBA with AAL/DP . My bet is the Pilots will ratify . Next up PS/CWA/IBT ASSOCIATION. Pay attention !

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT!! ENTIRE AM SHIFT IN PHX HAS BEEN MANDOED!!!

What's that ? You've got thirty plus years? Dust off those knee pads and get in the bin!

Thanks to the new contract of getting all sick days awarded at the start of the year and not losing holiday pay for calling in ,people are all like "F this I'm sick for a week " (remember consecutive days off are one point)

It doesn't help that Management has these flex nights, especially on P/T assist lines, where the ending shift time come around 0100 and 0130, and then ask if one can work overtime next day starting a 0830, in addition to the usual flex night shift.

These P/T bid lines of 1730-2130 (non-flex)/2100-0100 (flex), 1730-2130 (non-flex) /1930-0100(flex), 1530-2130 (non-flex) /1930-0130(flex), and 1800-2200 (non-flex) / 1930-0130 (flex) are real grinds.  One shift has a FOUR HOUR DIFFERENCE in the starting and ending times depending upon the night!  Besides the short overnight rest, it leads to large shift gaps, so go figure people aren't signing-up for overtime, so mando becomes the Management solution for a brutal flight schedule.
