Prediction: Ray will fit in very well with the Miami base culture. Laid back but strongly unionist.

It is unlikely that Captain Kothny will be a welcome addition to the JFK 777 ranks. His creepy, unhinged, hyper-emotional personality will have the NY F/Os seething in no time.

One of you old dust farting East guys stayed in my crash pad. Dude used to smear boogers on the wall. I got to scrape them off with a paint scraper and spackle over it before I sold the place.

Why don't you scrape some boogers off your crash pad wall and call them Kothnys?

As expected, the rejected and discredited ALPA Give-Away-Gang is dipping their toes back into union politics in the hope that the membership has forgotten their legacy of weakness, cluelessness and deceit. They will soon find that the membership has long memories.

Don Iorio and Dan Scola are running for office in Charlotte. They are the stalking horses for the return of the Pollock Posse. The template will be the same as before. A lot of tough talk during the election period about industry leading this and that. After the election, the message will shift to the old double-talk about the dangers of "overreach" and "killing the golden goose."

For misdirection, expect a few "strongly worded" letters to Doug. It's all good, management is in on the gag.

After leaving office, Don and Dan will magically become A330 Check Airman, too. Life is good.

No worries, though. This is all hypothetical. Reality will intrude and they will get smoked in the election by Frear and Granger. Thanks for playing, boys.

We also look forward to another Chip Munn op-ed in the Charlotte Observer, where he will conclude that the Machinists' 5 year wait for a new contract is due to their excessive demands. Doug and Robert Isom can hardly believe their luck. Facing a work group with some spine, they will hope that a classic Munn FUD grenade will turn the tide. Good luck with that, Doug. :)

Ray will blend in as long as he stops his photo ops.
Kothny, that cat will come unhinged in no time as he receives pushback from his nutty antics. Soon, his extensive international experience flying from PHX to Cabo will come to the fore. The Natives will just look on with disbelief as Kothny and his windfall seniority come to town.
In no time he will be scrapping with agents during his commute, and during his work. He is a legend.
What ever came of his long craving for his Move2CLT?

If Munn is around long enough, he will surely work to undermine the IAM as well as APA. He is rather busy at the moment scarfing up any and all trips that fall before him.

Indeed. Chip is known as a premium blocker in Charlotte as he greedily sucks up straight time and undercuts his fellow bus pilots who hold out for premium pay. Chip better not bid Miami. They have a good system going that benefits all. Chip would not be well received.

Now Rick Moseley is running in Miami. Wow. It's too bad Jack Stephan retired, we could bring back the entire crew.

All Miami based LUS pilots need to get the word out to the LAA pilots. NFW to a return of the ALPA Give Away Gang.

Chowderhead Johnny Mac is back to his old tricks on C&R. The Little Sizzler is still steaming over the fact that the macho President of the US Airline Pilots Association, Captain Mike Cleary, took a giant dump on his Nicolau fantasy of widebody greatness.

Judging by the responses, it would appear that the saavy LAA boys are less than impressed by the pathetic dips*it. They were quick to slap down his bitter ramblings and told the swarthy, freakish looking fool to pack sand.

Even a newly mature Captain Ray Burkett emerged to chastise the unsavory dolt. Captain Burkett has clearly taken the responsibilities of the left seat to heart and emerged as a welcome voice amid the clutter on C&R. Bravo, Captain!

The early political intelligence reports are in and the news is very good. As predicted by this poster on this forum, the slealth comeback of the ALPA Give-Away-Gang in the upcoming Charlotte council election has gone over like a lead balloon.

The candidacies of Don Iorio and Dan Scola are quickly turning into an embarrassing disaster. The pair of Chip Munn acolytes will be lucky to poll ten percent of the vote and that is only if their supporters are allowed to vote twice.

Their grand strategy revolved around an effort to con the third listers with the canard that the "radical" Frear and Granger will endanger their careers by demanding too much. The propaganda campaign has fallen flat and the third listers are in no mood to accept less than their friends at Delta and United for the sake of some vague promises of "mutual respect" and "cooperation."

Scola will slink out of town to DFW where, much to Johnny Mac's chagrin, he was awarded a 777 Capt bid. If I may say so, he will not be missed.
