Aircraft maint issues

It looks like SWA likes their contract. Now AA sues the association, next thing contract. Summer flying is here! Doug me now!

Perceived slow down by the mechanics maybe the result of having to call a skycap, with a wheelchair, to assist the mechanic respond to the aircraft. We aren't getting any younger but contract negotiations are getting older.

If you are impressed with the NC guys conduct at the town hall meeting. You are just as stupid as they are. The only thing THIS company cares about it how much money they can make for themselves.

Yeah that should scare the Hell out of them. Guess we will get everything we want Today. Great Job. Stupid is as Stupid does.
And you wonder why AA slapped a lawsuit on the AMT'S. The company is well prepared to deal with us. The association is not. Just review Samuelsons attitude, conduct and body language. This ain't the Gotham bus company Ralph.

True, but what kind of message?
When we became the most united employees at SWA within all the unions during our 7 year fiasco and the Pilots and F/A's came in and backed us fully, the co. did not like this at all, they hated seeing the flight crews giving 100% support to the mechanics. They also hated seeing the Pilots inviting AMFA to join them in their union hall as their HQ for our local 11 right there with them where they wanted us.
By having the support and backing of the flight crews will in fact slow the role a bit of the company, at least it did with us big time.
