AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today launched http://www.airtrancargo.com , a new Web site that will allow current AirTran Cargo customers to track their shipments 24 hours a day. The Web site provides an easy-to-use online tracking system that customers can access to find out the location of their shipments.

The new site also provides numerous options to customers who need to book shipments online or make reservations. On the new airtrancargo.com site, customers will also be able to:

* Sign up to become an AirTran Cargo customer
* Acquire contact information for AirTran Airways Ground Support Services
* Get contact information for the airline's cargo sales team members
* Access an interactive route map to make booking cargo shipments easier
* Book shipments online if they are known shippers

"Another important point is that AirTran Cargo does not add fuel or security surcharges, so there are no hidden fees," said Jack Smith, AirTran Airways' senior vice president of customer service. "This is a major reason to select our service above other air cargo companies providing service."

AirTran Airways started offering cargo service in November of 2004 to complement its growing passenger service. The low fare carrier currently offers freight transport to 20 different markets across the country and plans to expand to more locations in 2006. The cargo operation utilizes the underbelly storage areas of the airline's Boeing 717 and Boeing 737 aircraft during regularly scheduled passenger service.
