"American Airlines’ maintenance hub in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has received another boost following the airline’s decision to insource additional wheel and brake component maintenance"

"In 2018 the Transport Workers Union (TWU) claimed that among the five largest carriers in the U.S., Southwest outsourced 52% of its maintenance, United outsourced 51%, Alaska outsourced 49%, Delta outsourced 43% and American outsourced 33%."

Good job by the union getting all this work!!!!!!

Probably because we have a card drive to oust the Association. Seen it before. No surprise here.

And what are their wages?....

OH mechs at AA make what a line mech makes minus line pay which is $.55 cents an hour.

One of the many contract improvements AA has offered to us in the past that we refuse to accept was line pay at $2.55 an hour.

Whatever the contract says they are? Not sure what your point is?

My point is,(not hard to figure out), not all of the OH mechs in TULE make amt payscale.
That base is full of unlicensed mechs, and I was wondering if the wheel/brk shop utilized OSM scale labor. As I suspect they did...could be wrong.

Duke, the TWU has an army of FSC to fight for their parity in wages. C’mon!, “a loaf a bread costs the same for everyone brother!”‍♂️
