American looking to "right-size" the company and staffing levels for the Fall and 2021

TWU came through with the concessions! They always have.

Do you know if they got snap backs. Something the TWU at AA failed to do.

AMFA only has 403 members right now. I guess now I understand why you spend ALL of your time everyday on this site. You guys dont have the Member/Money. AA members is a must for amfa. I think I may have must changed my vote.
I am not surprised by your statement if I am interoperating the last sentence as you might have intended it to mean that you are questioning your commitment to vote out the Association in favor of AMFA. I suspect that you may have never intended to vote for AMFA given your consistent discouraging judgement cast upon AMFA.

However I welcome your input to these threads as I still believe that your continued participation will encourage many members to vote out the ASSociation and vote in AMFA.

I have been call a plant. attacked over and over. Just because I dont agree with everything thing that is said by the head guys on this BB (swamp and amfa in Miami.) I have stated over and over that I am not ok with TWU/IAM ASS. But I just know they are more powerful and have a lot more money than amfa. Money ALWAYS win. If the rest of you dont understand that. You are just plain stupid. I didn't know amfa only had a few hundred members. That is what made me say I need to rethink my vote. So if all of you that keep calling me a plant. You can kiss my OLD AZZ. Oh and by the way. I'm not as old as I have lead you idiots to believe. LMAO.

How much money would AA mechanics contribute to Coffers? My rough math says approximately 13 million a year. That seems like a good amount of money to accomplish everything I need done

I do not know as of yet. I do know that our original ask by the company already included a drop dead date and return to the contract pay in 2023, but, this was already offered within the companies agreement not nego by the TWU, so I would say No they did not, but it may be included in the companies offers as they really wanted folks to agree to the concessions.
BTW: 2 other groups at Southwest that already agreed to the concessions are also represented by the TWU meteorologist and dispatchers, they were the very first 2 groups that jump on boad in the very beginning...

edit by me:
Forgot to add Rogallo, It is a good time to talk about how the TWU is continuing to agree to these concessions at this time. It will only sustain the way that union has always done agreements to concessions in their history. Just another reason to move over to AMFA representation when the time comes...

Yes. And then they would have somewhere between 15-20K represented mechanics and related, would that not be the most represented group in the airline industry???

This was just sent to me by a Flight Instructor commenting on the agreement between TWU 557 and the company. He did say nothing on the TWU website as of yet, pretty sure they may not want to brag about it as their counterparts over at AA in the mechanic and related are facing possible removal from representation...

I’m thankful for both the Southwest and TWU 557 Negotiating Teams, who worked diligently to reach mutually agreeable solutions that would preserve jobs and provide necessary relief for Southwest. The tentative agreement includes a contract extension through December 31, 2021, and furlough protection for Flight Instructors through 2021. The tentative agreement must be ratified by the TWU 557 membership over the next few weeks.

Have you ever wondered why a self proclaimed intellectual ends questions with a period? I think what you meant is so FEW people.

I come here when I am bored and want to have a little fun.
Translation, your life is empty and your simple mind is amused by trolling.

I cant wait to see you guys words when this vote dont happen or it gets voted down.
You sir, are a paragon of our American education system, a fine example of why we are so far behind the rest of the world. Bravo.

You guys need to look in the Mirror and say to yourself. WHY DID MY PARENTS FAIL ME.
If they are your grandchildren they know why.

You Cant Fix Stupid. LMAO
