Hi,
I'm a freelance journalist and I just got an assignment to do an article on True TV's new show Maui Chopper. It's about helicopter pilots in Hawaii who fly rescue, fire, and transport missions. I believe they fly Hughes MD 500d helicopters.
Anybody here have any experience flying these types of missions? If so, any sort of insight into the show would be appreciative. Do you find it realistic? Compelling? Full of s***? It's on tonight at 10:30 and 11. If you can't watch, if you can watch the preview on the website and give me any thoughts? I'd like to get the perspective from real helicopter pilots.
