AS is objecting to the use of PFCs to expand the international facilities at SEA in a project that SEA is pursuing in part to accommodate DL's int'l growth.

DL points out that the FIS at SEA has not been upgraded in decades and that SEA benefits from being a larger int'l city and is served by other int'l carriers besides DL.

IN other SEA news, DL will expand its SEA-JNU and SEA-FAI service to year round with the use of DCI carriers during the off-peak months.

also, DOT data shows that AS' average fares in several key SEA-California markets fell in the most recently reported quarter validating the yield drop that AS has reported on a system basis.
