Possible expansion more flights to Hawaii cities from PHX and LAS hubs, and also new nonstop service between HNL and Papeete, Tahiti & French Polynesia (PPT) about 2731 miles and 4hrs 52min. Or who knows?

You cannot fly an A320 from PHX or LAS to Hawaii or points beyond unless you want to crash into the water and raft it the rest of the way.

And a tail # has nothing to do with an ETOPS aircraft, where is your proof that this is going to occur?

The aircraft can be ETOPS but US (east or west) is not certified to flight the a320 ETOPS. The west, at this time has not talked about the a320's being ETOPS. The west maybe looking at making a few west a/c EOW's not ETOPS.

Be stranded on Gilligan's Island....

Gilligan's Island centered around a group of passengers who where stranded on an uncharted deserted island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. They all were on an A320, which found itself in the middle of a storm leading them to crash on an island! B)

What is the difference between MTOW (Maximum Take-Off Weight) and OEW (Operating Empty Weight)? I couldn't find EOW information. What is EOW stands for? I'm asking you question does all US Airways Airbus family fleets have MTOW or OEW equipments without ETOPS for both EAST and WEST?

Do you think that perhaps there will be service from PHX to the Caribbean in the future? It would certainly open up some more doors for US.... eliminate the need to double connect from much of the west coast to get to the Carib.

Extended Over Water....and by asking that question you just sank every last bit of credibility in your intiial post.

Do many from the West Coast GO to the Caribbean? I dont think there is enough of a market there same as most Europe traffic comes from East of The Mississippi.
