For many of us that been around, we seen this before 80s, 90s. Airlines furloughed people, some going out of business all together. Only back then it was due to economic down turns, today, we have a virus to thank for it. For those of you that are new to this, there are tough times ahead. History has showed us,, that it takes 10 years for the airline to recover, after an economic down turn, how long this will take, we are not sure. Right now Cargo is the safest bet, but they can only accommodate so many, 135 operators will also hire some, but they don't like taking guys tat have been furloughed, because they know , that when the airlines calls them back,, they are leaving, so they don't want to go through the expenses of training someone that's going to leave. Start looking at a second job as backup, we all did it. I fact some of us left the industry all together. Get ahead of the game, start a business, go back to school, learn a trade, your financial stability is most important.
