I wanted to share this new product released by Eagle Dynamics. I chose videos that show how in depth this software is as opposed to just combat and flight videos. I thought the aircraft mechanics and pilots would appreciate how deep and detailed these simulators are. Please note this software is in beta and is still being refined and options added. There are many air frames (fixed wing and rotary) but this is the newest edition. All air frames can be played single player or online multiplayer.

I thought you guys might think this is neat.

It is a high quality full simulation of the F-14 Tomcat.

This is not just a fancy movie to sell the simulator. What you are seeing is actually how it looks while playing. Yes it does look that good and it is that detailed. Though you will spend most of your time in the cockpit.

This aircraft is multicrew functional. That means you and another person can be present in the aircraft at the same time (one in front one in back). If you play solo you will have an A.I. to assist.

Good shots.
Thanks!
I used to use simulator programs exclusively until I didn't have time.
Now I have some time, my programs do not work in win10.
Think I will install the DCS WORLD and take it from there.
Any tips?

DCS World is free and comes with 2 aircraft. One that is what is referred to as a Flaming Cliffs 3 level aircraft (Su25T is free which is less detailed and less demanding to fly) and DCS level aircraft (I believe the mustang is the free one, though I prefer more modern aircraft, which model pretty much every system). Most for sale airframes you are going to see will be DCS level. All the modules (airframes) plug into DCS World so they can all be played online at the same time.

I would recommend a HOTAS (Hands on Throttle and Stick). You pretty much NEED a joystick. Especially with a Helicopter.

This is what I use for fixed wing.

Though you can get it far cheaper than the price listed.

and I use a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 for helicopters (which you can't get new anymore but can be found on eBay)

and rudder pedals would not hurt either. I use these.

I would also recommend head tracking (this allows you to use your actual real life head to look around the cockpit)

This is the most popular one.

Though I have version 4 I prefer to use a combination of gyroscopic tracking and infrared tracking (much better result for me).

The software I use is free. However you would need a camera. I have one that is specially modified. A Playstation 3 eye I bought of eBay.

Software

This is what I use for gyroscopic tracking.

and this is what I use for infrared tracking

You can also use voice commands (with software) for communication to AI or functions (to communicate to a wingman or lower the landing gear for instance).

If you choose to play online they have voice communication software you can download for free to talk to others in real time.

I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
