Delta Flight slides off runway at MCI

Delta flight slides off taxiway at Kansas City International airport. No injuries. Passengers removed from aircraft on a bus. ATC says airport closed while icy conditions are dealt with. Also says that Delta incident did not factor in decision to close the airport and de-ice. Uh, OK.

Some of the NFL Network folks were complaining about it on Twitter because they were late getting to town for the Chiefs-Titans game. They usually broadcast updates on Friday from the stadiums.
