Delta TechOps wins Top Shop award

no, it doesn't mean "you got yours so shut up" and it wasn't said.

it means that it is very hard for anyone to understand how DL employees who have had some of the highest rates of compensation increase not only among airline workers EVER but also among American workers are struggling to make ends meet.

Financial disasters have always occurred - including sickness, death, and job loss. IN fact, personal financial disasters have happened more in the past including in the housing crisis where Atlanta was one of the hardest hit cities and still has not recovered. But the market has stabilized over the past several years - exactly when DL employee profit sharing has increased to levels that top the charts among American business.

I can indeed sympathize that there are and always will be DL workers just like in other industries and companies that will face personal financial crisis. but that is happening less so now than it did at other times in the past.

DL's growth in profit sharing is doing more to increase DL employees' real wealth and not just go to bail out personal financial disasters than compensation increases have done at perhaps any time in the history of DL, in large part because the rate of compensation increases for DL employees is above what has occurred in the past.
