DL Contractor Strike?

I don't think any vote has been scheduled but it appears their employer is not going to stand in the way.

and all those things in the mixer are absolutely part of the final outcome. It is no victory at all if the company loses the contract or that those employees actually choose to work less and still remain on the public dole despite cries of how much a living wage is needed.

By all means, let 'em vote, Kev, but I wouldn't don't claim victory just yet.

Let's see how things go once there's a contract, and again after the company has renewed their contracts with the respective airlines.

For now, DL and the other airlines who contract with them are insulated -- they're doing services for a fee. That fee won't change, and neither will the staffing minimums or service levels. That means that the contractor gets to bear the cost of whatever is negotiated, and they'll have to make it work or go out of business.
