Why the investors in order to exit, I thought that was what the Billions were for?

The billions they entered with were to cover cash flow during bankruptcy without finding a DIP source.

The more cash they find now, the more cash they have to go buy a reluctant merger partner later, reduct the value of unsecured claims, etc....
