"I realized today, it's not the union per say as it is the people that are running it."
By golly, I think he's got it.
All joking aside Driver, I have been telling you this for some time. After the meeting tomorrow, stay afterwards talk with all the members and get a feeling on how a recall would do to remove your ALR. If he is the problem as you say (and yes I have heard he's the biggest problem at the table), even heard this from National Officers as well as other Officers at the table. Then start the process of recall, we've done it twice here in Dallas. Your right, it's not always the union, it more than likely the people that are running it, sounds to me like you guys need a new ALR put in place. You gonna put your name in the hat Driver? If not do you know someone that would? It's all a matter of getting the process started, the membership or someone needs to pull the trigger to get started.
Ask your members at your membership meeting if they too think it'e time for a recall. Also you may want to contact all on the nego cmte and get some input as well. I have been told he's been the main hold up, no lie, check it all out yourself, dig in and get the info then react with the correct info. Good Luck.
