Lufthansa announces that 14 orders (out of a total of 34) for 777X have been converted to options which may or may not be exercised in the future. Though characterized as a step back while they evaluate their future a\c needs. I wonder if this decision is driven by concerns over the repeated setbacks to the official delivery date. There have been 2 setbacks to the delivery of first a/c in the past 3 weeks. 0n 10//23 Boeing said first 777X a/c to be delivered in early 2021. Day before yesterday Singapore (which is launch customer for the 777X) announced initial delivery will be 2022!
