It would be nice to have an actual real NWA mechanic, since when you are online we still don't have one here, :p .
 
I can count of the fingers of one hand the number of striking NW AMT who are posters on this NW forum on the US Aviation board

The vast majority of the posters here now are current or retired AA employees and are regular posters on the AA forum. The AMFA supporters at AA seem to be just itching to strike; but the existing TWU at AA appears to not agree.

Thus I believe the AA AMFA people think the NW strike is a make-or-break situation for their philosophy of aggressive unionism, i.e., if AMFA fails at NW, there is no chance of replacing TWU at AA.
