RAPID RESPONSE SESSIONS

DATES: WEDNESDAY MARCH 16 & THURSDAY MARCH 17, 2005

LOCATION: HANGAR 3 (Hangar Floor)

TIMES: 7:15 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:15 PM

PURPOSE: All the information you need to assist in dealing with the current lay-offs. If you are being furloughed or impacted as a result of the current cutbacks, please plan to attend one of the sessions listed above. Everything the state offers will be in one location for you.
You will learn about the following:

Re-employment Services through Careerlink

Budget Counseling
#
Health Care Coverage through CHIP and Adult Basic

Help through United Way Agencies
#
Clearview Credit Union & Fidelity Investment Representatives

And More.

Seating for 300 at each session. Packets and hand-outs on all subjects.
Question and Answer Sessions. Daylight shift please attend the session following your shift. Second shift please attend either the 7:15 or 11:00 AM sessions. Third shift attend any of the sessions.

I was let go in Dec. My children got onto CHIP but there is a waiting list for Adult basic. I personally know someone who has waited over two years. Private health insurance is out there too, and forget COBRA, family of five for just under $1000 a month, try that on unemployment. :down:
