Just thought this might be of interest to some out there, as it has come up before...
Eagle seems to be standardizing the paint scheme on all RJs to that of the ERJ-140. That is painted(gray) underside, instead of the original polished underside that all ERJ-145s and -135s were delivered in.
The reason is corrosion.
Monday night, on the usual ORD-IND commute, I flew N615AE, a -145 with the painted underside that definitely was unpainted before.
