I wonder if Republic Airways Holdings (RJET) might entertain a business plan for a Merger/Acquisition or a 50/50 Joint Business Venture with AMR American Eagle (MQ), after AMR and RJET announced on the 24 Jan, 2013 that they enter into a 12 year Capacity Purchase Agreement (CPA) for 53 (47 new/6 in-service) E175 aircraft, which has been modified to (47 new) E175 aircraft.

Or, could RJET entertain a 50/50 Joint Business Venture agreement with US Airways (LCC) for 24 new E190's aircraft that RJET had on order that has been deferred and RJET's current CS300 aircraft order, plus transfer some DCA route slot pairs from LCC to RJET.

RJET would entertain a Joint Business Venture with LCC for those DCA route slot pairs, and LCC would entertain a expanded CPA with RJET for the 18 E190's currently at LCC and the 24 new E190's that arrive at LCC. And as the CS300's arrive at LCC the 24 new E190's transfer to RJET and RJET pay a monetary amount to LCC, and possibility the CS300's in the future (5-10 years) if the pilot's union and the LCC can work out agreement before the purpose merger with American Airlines or after the merger with American Airlines if approved.
