Was just reading news and came across an article mentioning this "carrier". Seems they fly CRW-MYR. Checked out their website where they have great pix of a 737 and Airbus in their appearant color schemes, yet if you go to their equipment section it states they use Dornier 328s. Does this seem kind of deceiving to anyone else? Southern Skyways
Just curious if anyone else thought it a problem since the legacy carriers are required to advise of Express partners and this "carrier" is showing something it isnt flying on its website.

They were supposed to have service from ABE-MYR but it never materialized. Here is an article from USA Today about the aircraft downsizing:

Southern Skyways downsizes aircraft

There are more changes afoot at Southern Skyways. The carrier says it will stick to plans to begin flying this Friday, but will now use smaller aircraft than first planned. Southern will fly its inaugural route (Myrtle Beach, S.C.,-to-Charleston, W. Va.) with 30-seat Dornier jets, according to The Sun News of Myrtle Beach. Previously, the carrier had announced plans to use 124-seat Boeing 737-200 jets that would have been operated by Sacramento-based King Air.

Southern's aircraft downsizing is just its latest snag. The Sun News writes "the Charleston route is the only one left for the start-up carrier, which has been plagued with troubles. It dropped two of its three destinations [scheduled from Myrtle Beach] -- Allentown, Pa., and Cincinnati -- and delayed its debut by two months, citing slow ticket sales and the cost of doing business at Myrtle Beach International Airport."

Thanks, that explains the website thing. If they're having trouble getting started, they arent going to pay someone to change the graphics on their website.
