Any information yet about the contract improvements gained in the tentative agreement? Did the company back away from most or all of their more ridiculous proposals?

The company backed away from all of the proposals.

But while the steps were eliminated and years of service retained, the DOS+ increments in wage increases were retained. So there is a contract that has not only years of service increases but inflation buillt into it. The 401(k) match was retained. Health insurance increases are capped at 7% (were 10%). All the work rules were kept including the 4 days off between trips. Lost was the 150% for picking up open time. The union figured that would come back in an LOA when no one picked up open time.

The voting closed this morning and the contract was ratified with 74% approval of 96% of the eligible pilots.
