" STRIKE THREE " ( ATL ), YOU'RE O U T !!!

Ah Ohio. I remember not that long ago about how all the mail in ballots were rife with fraud...but in 2016 the Trump team identified likely voters in Ohion and mailed them an absentee ballot application...then hounded them to fill it out to get the actual ballot and kept on them until they completed it. Democrats did that (but left the hounding part off) and Trump calls all absentee ballots into question.
Yet trump himself did a mail in. Hmm. That ought to be questioned...unless it fits certain narrative????

Good luck MLB. Can't wait to see them find a state with fewer restrictions on voting that will also allow fans in the stands.

There are already pundits pointing out how Ohio (home of last year's game) is even more stringent on voting.

Mlb restarted season around late july last year. No all star game

Playing dumb as usual, eh? Huge difference between someone requesting a ballot, and unsolicited ballots being sent out.

In Florida, Trump had to submit a request including his DOB and signature, and a clerk at the election office does a verification before sending it out. Election officials know exactly how many ballots were requested, and can predict a maximum number that would be returned.

It's not as perfect as presenting an ID at a polling station, but it's better than nothing.

What's not reasonable is how anyone smart enough to be around airplanes can't see the risk of sending out millions of unsolicited blank ballots, and/or believing that there's no fraud going on with all those blank ballots... It's also not reasonable to have no idea how many to expect will be returned.

Imagine if airline breakrooms had stacks of blank ballots sitting around for a union representation election, and there was no meaningful way of authenticating who voted. Would you be OK if some "well intended" supervisor or pro-company crew chief decided to submit a couple dozen "NO" ballots for people he knew wouldn't be voting? Would you be OK if dozens of anti-union people across the system did that?

Yeah, didn't think so.

But it's OK to do that for a national election with much more serious consequences...

Yep, and we know you're all in on the use of threats, intimidation, and physical violence for anyone who votes or thinks differently from you.

January 6th, that was a bunch of righties trying to use threats, intimidation and physical violence.

Sounds like you've been OD'ing on CNN and MSLSD. I'm guessing they're not telling you that almost everyone arrested due to Jan 6 who has gone before a judge has been released on bail, mainly because the Feds can't prove they did anything more serious than taking selfies, let alone vandalism or sedition. Probably doesn't help that there's video of the Capitol Police opening doors and ushering people around...

A state rep from Georgia is introducing a motion to replace the recently passed law:

In recent days, President Biden called the new Georgia Election Integrity law un-American, sick, pernicious & Jim Crow on steroids.

In light of this, today I am announcing my intentions to file legislation to address his concerns. The bill will be called “The President Joe Biden Jim Crow on Steroids Voting Act.”

Since President Biden seems to be very concerned about our laws here in Georgia, this bill will make Georgia’s voting laws identical to those of his home state of Delaware.

As a result, it will have 5 key features:

1. Instead of having up to 19 days of early voting in Georgia, we will have ZERO days of early voting JUST LIKE DELAWARE!

2. Instead of having no excuse absentee voting in Georgia, you will have to have the excuse of being sick or disabled to vote absentee JUST LIKE DELAWARE!

3. Instead of having plenty of secure drop boxes in Georgia, there will be no drop boxes JUST LIKE DELAWARE!

4. Instead of being able to get drink/food from a non-poll worker outside of the 150 foot buffer & drink from a poll worker within the barrier in Georgia, it will be illegal to receive anything of value while standing in line to vote JUST LIKE DELAWARE!

5. Instead of being able to vote in relative quiet in Georgia, your name will be announced out loud (and your party affiliation during a primary) so that your vote can be challenged by anyone present in the polling location JUST LIKE DELAWARE!

That would be the ultimate trolling of Democrats if it were to actually go anywhere...

Sounds like you have a serious case of TDS.

Sounds like you are following an ignorant narrative. Lol

Or may be ur ok w DL not got union bec of shady bs they pull???? Yea thought so. I was with Piedmont commuter in 05 when they gave us a quarter raise ti prevent unionized. Giess what. Lost that quarter raise when piedmont did shady bs n we did not unionize that time. Requesting ballot is 1 thing. To restrict every aspect of voting is something else.

What specifically and explicitly is "restricting every aspect of voting"?....

Every registered voter in GA (and almost every other state in the country) has access to absentee ballots by mail when justified, and access to early voting in person for at least 18 days. Voters without a photo ID can get one for free in most states or use alternative forms of ID.

So who exactly is restricted or unable to vote under one of those two options?
