I've emailed my Congressman (Jerry Moran) who said he didn't support the GOP non plan and asked him to introduce a bill that was a straight repeal. I sent a similar email to Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan asking one of them to do the same thing. They haven't. I hear a lot of beeyatching from the right about how bad Obamacare is, but now that they are in power, they are all for just gung ho for letting Obamacare, which is making them pay for a product they can't afford to use, just die. Why don't they repeal? Have YOU written anyone in Congress and told them you wanted them to repeal the ACA?

I did say congressmen, but I should have said lawmakers since I have written senators and congressmen and asked them to stand by their pledge to their voters. I'm in Kansas where even the dog catcher ran against Obamacare. They said they would repeal. Moran said his opposition to the GOP non plan was that it didn't repeal Obamacare, so I simply asked him why don't you introduce a simple bill to repeal Obamacare? I haven't heard back.

NO need to worry about the dear leader....I think he would prefer a straight repeal and no replacement until 2021 (I don't think he'll want to run again in 2020) because while he has not problem attaching his name to a failed casino or a failed airline or a failed university or a failed steak company....there is no way in hell he will want ANYTHING known as "Trumpcare".

Hate to say it, but there is a grain of truth to that. But it's gotten way beyond that now. Have you had your roof replaced lately?........... I'm not agauinst immigration. I would just like to see it done legally! And yes, I realize that Immigration reform is badly needed.

Watching C-Span yesterday, I witnessed not One BUT two attempts to repeal/replace the ACA, and BOTH Times the REPLUG attemps ' took it in the shorts', with 7 Brave 'R's' voting N O, then on the second attempt, 9 MORE told T-rump to ' STICK IT ' !

I'm not sure. REupblicans want to repeal Obamacare, but none of them have the balls to do it because they know a lot of the people who voted for them will be hurt. So they WON'T repeal it...but they are seeking ways to blame democrats. And they might succeed - just let it die - after telling their constituents that Obamacare was worse than 9/11 and they promised a repeal....republican voters are too stupid to go to the pollng place in 2018 and say "hey....why didn't they repeal Obamacare?"...they'll just accept that it's somehow the democrats fault that they are in the sorry shape they are in and not question why their representatives didn't repeal this thing that was hurting them (so they were told).

But one lone republican might have an idea that he THINKS will somehow hurt democrats....he's introduced a bill for single payor to as a ploy to use against democrats. It's supposed to go to a vote this afternoon. If democrats were smart, every single one of them would vote FOR it. A bill, introduced by a republican to repeal Obamacare and replace it with single payor. The dems are the minority, so there is no way it would pass...even with unanimous votes from democrats. Even the idiot who sponsored it won't vote for it. Then...the democrats can point to that little stunt and say "who's doing the obstructing again? A republican introduced the bill...we voted for it. They didn't. And you still have Obamacare. In 2018 - you'll know who to thank for that"

Just remember that it took a full six months to get Obamacare drafted and passed. Repealing and maybe replacing should take at least that long, and we're nowhere near that point yet.

I didn't say democrats were smart....I believe I qualified that with a great big IF....as in 'IF democrats were smart". They clearly aren't. So in 2018, while spineless republicans fail to introduce a "just repeal it" bill....and even if they DID, it wouldn't take effect until after 2018 (how convenient)...they will leave Obamacare, that they campaigned on repealing because it was HURTING America....it was hurting THEM...and blame democrats. So one of them introduces a bill for single payor. They KNOW they are the minority, so it was safe for them to vote "Yes" on a repeal and replace with single payor. It would have been voted DOWN by republicans. And they could have used this as a 'we tried, but they obstructed' moment.

But democrats are just as spineless as republicans. Still waiting for them to do what they promised.
