By continuing to "wait" out the company and refusing to fight is the iam conceding their medical, pension and everything else they value? In the process costing their "partners" a fortune, and refusing to stand with us, the pilots, flight attendants and gate agents is it a failed strategy?

You are hitting the nail on the head in your posts. Look twu mx has the power. I would stop anything with the afl/cio letterhead too. take control guys, i would consult with apa how to properly organize a picket too maybe. Not a fan of bullhorns. Its also time to release the proposal to Texas and Oklahoma. Wake up and stop dealing with anything Sito/Iam. Why would Texas and Oklahoma and AA want to lose skilled labor and jobs? Time to consult with some of the apa guys on which jobs should be your core, many are legal and business trained. These internationals are f.o.s. and out for themselves at this point.Management has released their proposals, on Jetnet. Release the entirety of the proposal. Build the walls now between twu and iam. Let Iam deal with their own contract.

Lets keep this near the top maybe someone will explain their strategy.

did the iam bother showing up today or did they just stay home to wait out the company?

Tim, did Sito and his family win the election, as you so eloquently and spot on predicted how things would go politically on the iam end, on why there would be no contract until after the election. Scary how you get a lot of stuff right. And if he did, does he now signal to AA how they can really screw the twu members now?
