From the account it sounds like the goof did it deliberately. Boarding had begun, and one crew member and one passenger were treated for minor injuries. Plane had to be taken out of service of course. Passengers had a 3-hour delay waiting on replacement airplane.

This is also a security breach as guy got onto the airfield illegally and commandeered a truck on the ramp. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say about how he got onto the airport in the first place.
