For Trump, I think the stain of being charged will be a huge blow to his ego, and will carry almost as much weight as an actual conviction would.

Yes, it was a great blow to his ego, but his acquittal has just emboldened him and now his actions/reactions will be much worse.
The TrumpOcRats have fallen in line (except for Romney) and are licking his gonads as we speak.
When I voted for Trump, I thought he would change and be more 'Presidential' but he only has gotten worse.
The DemoRats don't have a clue on how to react and only made it worse.
I look at the 2020 election candidates and there are one or two that 'may' give Trump a run for the office.
Bernie, Warren, Buttigieg are not electable (JMHO).
