Trump, to CLEAN UP Homeless in California !

Cali on its way to A+ s-hole...but yeah, "Orange Man Bad"

Typhoid Fever, Typhus & Tuberculosis: Are L.A.'s Medieval Diseases Coming To Your City?
https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckd...al-diseases-coming-to-your-city/#754b3f99610d

Los Angeles has a growing problem with diseases borne by both flea and feces. An LAPD officer was just diagnosed with typhoid fever along with two more from the same workplace displaying symptoms.

Meanwhile, cases of typhus, caused by a different bacterium, have soared in California from 13 in 2008 to 167 in 2018.

In addition, there have been outbreaks of hepatitis A, tuberculosis, and staph in L.A. and other West Coast cities. Why is this happening—and will spread to other cities?

The city of Los Angeles itself links the disease outbreaks to the area’s growing homelessness problem.

If Biden gets elected im sure he can clean it up. He has some magical ability.

After all he has a plan of putting 720 million women back into the workforce. Despite the US population being only 320 Million.

That is how many foreigners he is going to let flood American soil.

So if this NIT WIT tears down all the tent cities in LAX and SFO, where pray tell is he going to put all these people, especially US Citizen ?
Build more 'prisons' ?
Build more half way houses ? All with Federal $$. If so, who's gonna' PAY for it ?
People cannot be held against their will for committing NO crime, and if there's a $ fine $ for vagrancy, and no one pays the fine, Then What ?

Oh, wait a minute.
I've got it. The M O R O N can pull a Marie Antoinette. " LET THEM EAT CAKE " !!!
Bears leftist polices created a housing shortage.

What do you expect when you allow illegals to flood your "sanctuary city" and use taxpayer funds to feed, clothe, and house illegals?

Basically you are using tax money to push citizens out of the already limited housing market.

The real MORONS are the people that voted for these leftist politicians to use their own tax dollars to supplant them.

La Li Lu Le Lo.
You're too smart a person to think that illegals are totally to blame for homelessness in this country. There are plenty of large cities especially in the hard winter climates that Hispanics are a small minority on the streets. Granted California is an exception. I'm older than you, so I remember when homelessness (on the street) was rare. One huge difference is that lack of decent paying jobs. Back then too, it was virtually impossible NOT to be able to get a job with the DPW or the Post office or the Gas Company, electric company, cab driver etc, jobs that at least a guy could make enough $$ to rent a crummy apt. (Yes if you had a police record, even back then, it would make things difficult). Seriously, I'm not trying to feed you a BS session. What I wrote above, is true, from my experience living "forever" in the greater Boston Area !
Again, you're way smarter then guys like 'Hopkins, Insp69 and especially Clit-rat !

Bears you are absolutely wrong on LaLa. He hasn’t gotten past knuckledragging, and will never be smart enough to walk on two feet

I don't think illegals are totally to blame for homelessness.

However when you don't even have enough affordable housing to house the citizens and you encourage illegals to settle in the area then you make the housing shortage even worse.

California should not be allocating tax money to house illegals when we have citizens on the street AND a housing shortage.

This problem is hardly unique to the United States.

In England they have the same problem. Too many people not enough houses. This has led to what they call HMO's. That stands for Housing of Multiple Occupancy. Basically they are single dwelling homes where multiple independent people live (as in not family and not friends they just occupy the same home).

You see England extends welfare to migrants as well. This has led to landlords favoring renting to many migrants, all paying with government money, over citizens. This has resulted in the citizens of England getting pushed out of an already distressed housing market.

I mean why charge say... an employed single mother with 2 kids when you can overcharge 15 migrants (the migrants pay by the week instead of the month by the way) to live in a 2 bedroom house paying with government money AND working under the table?

That single mother with 2 kids simply can't compete for housing..... so what happens? She becomes homeless with 2 kids being shuffled around emergency housing to emergency housing while migrants live in HMO's.

So why illegal immigration may not be totally to blame for homelessness it is definitely a factor.

I know you have age on me and I know you have seen some things in your life but I think there is a lot you are unaware of as far as how the illegal underground works.

There are a lot of things that go on that the general public is totally oblivious to.

La Li Lu Le Lo,

Agreed, that a lot of your points are good. Having said that, I Hold Hard and Fast to my strongest point, that would fix a significant amount of the problem. Not all, but a 'good chunk'. Now I'm not referring to good paying jobs like You have, and i HAD, but jobs that paid (past tense) a livable wage. Do you like Graphs, like I do ? If so, look at the famous " 15-20 year graph " that clearly shows Corporate Profits climbing up the graph like a scud missle, while workers wages have shown that wages have not been anywhere near so fortunate. Corporate Greed exists, and you and I both know it, and again I feel it's a sizable contributor to the issue at hand.

Dog', I Love you brother, and you know that. But lately, I've been getting a Strong Sense that La Li Lu Le Lo, is NOT in the same level of (lack of) Intelligence, as Buffoons like Insp69, Hopkins, or CLIT-rat !

You know Bears I had this long winded post comparing the price of items from 1989 and 2018. I was going to show you 2 examples of how things are actually cheaper today. A gallon of milk and the average car price. However I decided that was a lot of writing for only a bit of data so I simplified it.

Here is the simplification.

https://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm

$3.35 in January of 1989 (minimum wage) has the same buying power as $7.10 in August of 2019.

The minimum wage in 2019 is $7.25.

To take it to an even further extreme.

$0.25 in October of 1938 (minimum wage) has the same buying power as $4.58 in August of 2019.

As you can see Americans earning minimum wage have GAINED buying power not lost it.

You say these people are victims of corporate greed but the data shows they are better off. They definitely have a higher standard of living.

Bears I can show you 3 examples of how socialism hurts the common man.

Let's start with corporate greed.

#1 You have department stores and fast food places paying very low amounts and able to maintain workers. Why? Because those workers can qualify for welfare benefits. Basically the US government is subsidizing those employer's payroll.

#2. Tuition cost used to be reasonable. Then it became common for students to take out student loans. The schools saw all that nice government money and just kept raising tuition which of course was covered by ever increasing loan amounts. Socialism (student loans) is the primary reason tuition cost are so outrageous.

#3 Medical care used to be affordable. Then healthcare insurance became a common thing. Now instead of medical care costing a reasonable amount that an average person can afford the hospitals see this giant pool of money they can bill. What is insurance but a privatized form of socialism? That is to say group money is allocated to individual care.

There are 3 fine examples of how socialism (pooled money that is distributed) has hurt the American citizen.

If you really want to talk about greed we can't discount the student loan debt which according to Forbes 2018 is $1.52 trillion spread out among 44.2 million people. That is an average of ‭$34,389.14 (rounded down) per person.

I mean good grief Bears it almost tripled from 2006 to 2018. You want to talk about downright greed look no further than the (mostly) left leaning schools and (mostly) Democrat policies.

Anyway Bears the point of all this is to illustrate greed is hardly a "corporate" thing (though you are right they are getting greedy). There is enough to spread that blame around.
