AMT is my work area got a call from a retiree last night. This guy retired about 8-9 years ago and he had a ballot for this LBO voting. He had questions about the call in instructions and what he was supposed to do with it? I was asked NOT to use the retirees name but I do have it available.

Everyone needs to start calling the retirees that you, ask if they have received a ballot and let's see what is happening here.

Surely the TWU wouldn't include the retirees in the current voting process.

Say it aint so.

I will contact my friends who recently retired and get their ballot ID numbers, if in fact they received voting ballots, and notify Larry Pike and Bob Owens.

Gee, Mr. Informer, our darlings in the twu and company wouldn't do that, would they?

A review of Chapter 1114, for the retiree committee might be in order.

Here is what has been determined so far.

This retiree was being bombarded with e-mails from the ATD stating that if he had not received his ballot then he should call a given phone number to obtain a ballot.

He called my coworker asking what was being voted on and that he did not understand why he needed a ballot.

This morning we made contact with him to clarify what as actually happening.
He had NOT received a ballot but was being asked via e-mail to call and get one.

WE had him call the number and he was denied a ballot since he is retired.

While there is strong evidence of miscommunication, there is no verfication of a retiree actually having a ballot in his possesion.

At this time this appears to be a non-issue.

... a "non-issue", granted, but worthy of further exploration. I trust both the company and their pet union just as far as I can throw a bull by the tail.

Is that the mailing that comes with the free Viagra sample?

I can only remember using the Viagra.

What did the letter say again , vote for who ?

Kennedy, Nixon, who again ???

I'm not buying it. Next thing I'll read is that black helicopters were circling Tulsa dropping "Vote Yes" instructions.

Time for everyone to don their tinfoil hats.

It is confirmed that retiree's are getting ballots, according to 567 board member. Larry is compiling a list, to give to who, I don't know.

Hopefully, the list will be given to an attorney wanting to make a name for himself by getting numerous corporate and union lackies tossed into prison for conspiracy and fraud charges.
