UAL Market cap $17.5 Billion, DAL market cap $34 billion, why so different?

Duh, just look at the stock details.

Both are priced about the same per share.

UAL only has a float of 372M shares, DAL has a float of 782M shares.

My explanation explained it using fifth grade math, no videos required, no long winded dissertations necessary.

X = Y * Z

When Y or Z are different, you should expect X to be different.

If you want to dive into why DL chose to sell a lot of stock to raise cash while UA didn't, have at it.

Would not the price to purchase all shares of DL outright be 32 billion dollars and the price to purchase all share and buy UA be 17 billion dollars? I'm not a stock analyst and obviously not as knowable about companies value just wondering how your math comes out to your analysis that they are about equal ?
