why even try? With all the cuts we have taken and the additional cuts they are asking for we will still loose 2 bil in 05??

Oh, you didn't know? With a "competitive" cost structure, all that prime business savy at CCY is going to aquire prime parts of UAL, DAL, NW and AA and turn itself into a domestic and international "powerhouse." Lakefield will slaughter SW and JB on the east coast. U will be making profits while everyone else keeps losing money. Of course, U employees will still be paid poverty wages. After all, CCY will say, you guys freely agreed to this contract. . . .and a contract is a contract.

Now back to reality . . . . . . which parts of U do you think other airlines will be interested in when Lakefield finally augers in?

They said the 2 Bil was for ALL the US airlines NOT US Airways alone.

and the downward spiral continues, pay cut after pay cut, gutted contract's and all but just be happy you have a job. soon the guest workers will be here to do the work for half the pay and GW will call it GOOD FOR AMERICA :down:

NO A320 they did'nt say that 2 bil was for all US airlines, just the ones who cant manage an airline! ;)
