US FAs push back against TSA pat downs

Where has the AFA been during this ordeal? I have yet to see one person on TV, one press release on their website or even any kind of document circulating showing that they are doing anything to deal with this situation. A couple pilot unions put their foot down and their rules were changed within a week. Given the larger body of the FA workforce, clearing them more quickly would be an even greater benefit to the TSA.

That said, where have the airlines themselves been? The airlines should have been publicly demanding this be changed and showing faith in, and support of, their employees.

If you refer back to the originating post you can read it  I realize it was AFA66, but it comes as no surprise that there is no reference from the East AFA.

If you're talking about the first post in this topic, I did go back and read it and I don't see anything. They're giving advice to flight attendants and passing them on to the ACLU. No firm statement against the procedure, no demand for fast track processing like the pilots, nothing of substance at all.
