was there a death on the cooler?

let’s see....
He could have:
-Read his intel reports
-Read Navarro’s paper on what would happen if they didnt contain covid and act.
-Read Obama’s pndemic playbook and use it
- He could have told us the truth
-Resign
-Be more like Taiwan. they are close to China and they contained it better than anyone.

Trump could have done a lot of things. Instead, he did nothing. So unamerican. So unpatriotic. What a loser.
He was briefed. Must have read Navarro's memo as He followed recommendations.

While an NSC official confirmed the playbook’s existence to Politico, the person quite richly claimed it was of little value. “We are aware of the document, although it’s quite dated and has been superseded by strategic and operational biodefense policies published since,” the official said. “The plan we are executing now is a better fit, more detailed, and applies the relevant lessons learned from the playbook and the most recent Ebola epidemic in the [Democratic Republic of the Congo] to COVID-19.”

He told the truth about the pandemic early on, He did downplay it some what to prevent panic. That's one of the responsibilities of a leader. Or would the population be more comfortable being told 2 million of you will die in the next couple of months? Any speculation of what that would have brought about?

Why did Taiwan do better? One of the biggest was shutting down the borders/travel with China. Trump jumped on that only to find your crew wigging out over it, including your mental midget now running for president. Then, I don't think a nation of 24 million, compared to some 330 million and a vast disparity in land mass had anything to do with it either.
Are you saying you aren't going to vote for Trump?

ALL of IT, because this Dirty BAS . . . D is a GREEDY, Self Righteous Mother' !

STOP Whining eolesen.

Your time would be better spent, concerning yourself with the M O R E taxes, you and your state will be paying very SOON !
Did you not make a post recently where you were bragging about not paying ANY income tax at all?

So it is OK for everyone else but not for you?

Your entitlement is showing.

that is in three years vs 8. How much of that 102M went to Trump properties?
If it had to do with golfing at a Trump-owned facility, the answer is ALL OF IT. Among items charged to the facility---the cost of the Secret Service men who are required under the law to accompany the President every where he goes. This includes (at market cost) the SS men's rooms, meals and other amenities.

Maybe he should not have followed Navarros recommendations then. Didnt do any good, did it?

Every president does things we all think cost too much. I think it depends on if you like them then it doesn't seem too much. If you don't it does.

Mark Twain was absolutely correct when he defined golf as being "a good walk spoiled." Even so, there is no way he could have run up bills playing golf in the amount of $102,000,000 legitimately. The professional golf players if they win a tournament get about $1million (for most tournaments that's the max).

Oh, the outrage.... Anyone who has been around hotels, restaurants, etc. knows that margins are almost as thin as they are in the airline industry. Most of that money coming in is going right back out to workers and suppliers, benefits, utilities, and taxes.

Prior to the pandemic, the best operating margin that Hyatt saw over a 10 year period was 7.5%. For those who don't get what operating margin is, that's what's left over after paying the bills, but before any financial games like depreciation...

Resort properties tend to see slightly higher margins, but not by much because they also have much larger upkeep. Greens keeping for a world class golf course ain't cheap to maintain... that's all very labor intensive.

Amen! And barely make a profit on $102millions worth of golf games. How does poor Donald stay afloat? Oh never mind. I just remembered. He doesn't pay income tax which frees up money for the turf grooming.
