First, they need to apply for more frequencies. Second, they have to be approved by the DOT. Third, because a big GorillAA will crush them.
1st you do not have to apply for more frequencies, second the DOT doesn't approve/disapprove domestic flying, 3rd does aa even fly IAD-SAN?

First of all this should read " Why Doesn't JetBlue offer more Dulles to San Diego flights"? Secondly, this is domestic flying-no need to seek permisssion. National is slot restircted not Dulles. Good question though.
When is JB going to start MIAMI to JFK and BOS? AA has no competition on BOS-MIA. Any rumors about returning to ATL?

Ok I'll end the horror for the sake of the audience, the route being discussed is Dulles (IAD) to San Diego (SAN). The is not about Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) where AA is hubbed.

Some call it Washington Dulles, Dulles, IAD etc.

It is an airport just outside of Washington DC.

BTW If you are an employee you just made a serious newbie mistake.
