There are more F/A in the TWU than
Maybe but they will have 3 times the contracts that we will. You can't even produce a T/A to look at more than 60 days from an AIP.

AMFA's Washington group is at it again. Good work in help getting this thru guys. And some here didn't even know we had a group supporting us at the Wash. level.
He already knows that the TWU would and has failed here at SWA for the mechanics. They tried getting in some time ago and were sent packing 4 days later with no one willing to sign a TWU card. It was right after the teamsters were also sent packing when they tried to fire up their 2nd card drive at SWA. Plain and simple that the mechanics are just sick and tired of the industrial unions.
And yes Crow, I too will wait for all the "T" to be crossed and "I" to be dotted before jumping into anything. And if the No votes win then the No votes win, if it's the yes votes then it's the yes votes, but I do not care at this point how long it takes for our NC and union to do their due diligence to get us the correct deal to vote on.
The NC and the company has about 2 weeks to get er done, if not, then both will get to listen to the mediators staunch tongue lashings and neither side wants to moved by her at this point. What is left is a very small number of positions and the way the retro and bonuses will get distributed to the members.

I would say a day late and a dollar short, trying to put their name on something, when the other unions endorsed it first, sad. Just produce a T/A.

Actually one Union did a little more than just support the Legislation and it wasn’t the AMFA.

I actually don't expect anything until just before the scheduled meetings. So end of month at the soonest. Unless you know something more I don't see either side moving anywhere until they have to. Some say we will be voting in Aug., but they never say when in Aug.

How convenient starting at year 7, face it, If this was American you would tell their AMTS your union sucks. Sounds like our negotiating committee wants to suck more of our dues money. Tell me Swamt that sounds just like the Teamsters you claim you hate!
