I could swear that I've purchased a ZED for my parents in the past, yet someone told me yesterday that to use a ZED the employee must also be traveling. Can someone clarify if this is the case? <_<

It depends on the ZED agreement with each airline. Can you access the HUB? You can get more details under TRAVEL. My parents are always using Air Canada with out me when flying to Nova Scotia for the summer. Good Luck

Unless this is something else that changed with our pass privileges recently, parents do not need to be with the employee to travel on zed fares. While most carriers charge the employee, spouse and children the ZM fare (zed medium fare), parents are required to pay the ZH fare (zed high fare). Parents pay the higher fare whether or not they are traveling with the employee.

Here's an idea?

Why can we not do ZEDS from the hub and have it billed to a cc or debit acct?

Let IT get The Hub working faster and more efficient, then the IVR number working correctly first..this would be a lot of help to employees right now...
