The women on the ramp in Philly have gone to the shift managers, the duty managers, the ramp director, and the station director (yes, the new HP guy!) with reports of PHYSICAL and verbal attacks against them as well as sexual content of conversations, movies, videos on laptops and Ipods in the breakrooms and hallway areas. (Porn)
THEY ARE SCARED, HARRASSED, and INTIMIDATED!
NO ONE CARES!
USAirways fired 22 guys "pending an investigation" into an incident that occured off the property.
However, NOTHING is done when women bring these situations to management.....not even a posted memo on zero tolerence.

Where do they go from here?

(No where in this statement did I say that I am an employee)

If you were an employee I would send you straight to Human Relations. 10:00am EST Monday morning.

A manager in the shops/hangar said "he wished he had a baseball bat and would take care of that people in that dept (stores)"

He was suspended two weeks with pay.

If that was a rank and file member they would have been terminated instantly.

I was told that that "human relations" was present at the same meeting with Grantham. So no hope there.

Last month a female employee was told "I will kill you and your family" and struck in the head in front of a manager....nothing was done then and the female employee wrote a statement but hasn't even received a reply from management on their investigation into the incident.

Maybe he could team up with the IAM goons in Phl and they could be a tag team!

DP has a hotline. If these reports are called in and the hotline doesn't get resolution I'd be very surpised and disappointed. What about the union? Aren't they also there to protect workers from bullies?

From anyone's standpoint, is there anything good about PHL?

No matter what happens to the customers/employees/operation...etc.etc.etc management just loves PHL, what a joke.

GET A GOOD LAWYER

yall had 'em incarcerated, executed and buried or don't yall remember the lynching?

And rightly so Dell after the beating incident. Up until the beatings I was leaning toward the IBT, but was keeping an open mind and was ready to listen to the IAM's pitch for my vote. Close that book now.

If I were in the women's shoes I should feel like the FIRST place I could go to make a complaint would be my UNION. What the heck are they paying dues for? What a joke
