Stewguy, do you think there is a chance that these people will be furloughed again in the fall? My question is if this is indeed the case, then why bring them back and train them again and rearrange their lives again. It doesnt seem fair.

I am wondering too. It must be enough that Stewguy86 got some letter that they didn't need any more people. How many were supposed to show up? And I am still trying to figure out why they needed to recall them in the first place. :unsure: :down:

I am curious-what is the call out time for a reserve? Is it an hour and a half? And are you required to live in base? :unsure: Also, how many days off a month do reserves have now?

Why recall these people only to lay them off again? Are reserves flying that much right now? :blink:

How did they notify you? By e-mail or call...? What did the notification letter say?

A gal pal of mine left US and went to work at DL. She is on a rotating reserve system now(a month on and a month off or something like that) Maybe we would have less of a problem getting people to come back if that were the case here. People are leary about being on reserve again every month...

Has anyone out there heard how far up the list (in inverse order) they sent the recall or resign letters? I wonder how many they had to send out to get the needed number of returnees. :unsure:

So I guess the big question now is: how soon before they post this info? Also, is it still true that if you are employed in a job which involves fulfilling a contract that you are safe from being "resigned" from the company? I remember something about that. anyone remember?

A lot of people's lives are about to change. Just curious--will they continue to keep the people that pass on furlough or will they eventually get rid of all on the list? Is there a time limit? Does anyone know what the longest amount of time has been that an airline has kept people on furlough?

Oh boy...noon tomorrow is the deadline for the recall forms. I just wonder how many will pass this time. Has anyone heard about the numbers that inflight has received so far? How does it work? Do they go through the list and back again if everyone passes? Or, do they start at the bottom and...
