With all the changes in structure and attempt to eliminate levels....I wonder when/ if they will can the PFS inititive at DFW or even system wide....

I have always been an operational guy, with zero flying time....but I do try to keep up and learn what I can when something catches my interest......and I am puzzled with the short time frame that this could have happened..... According to the ATC feed posted on page one- 15:23- CO 3407...

Sounds like everyone, including me- is onboard with cutting ties with consulting firms, that grace our work areas frequently. What other departments and/ or inititives should the company eliminate to save time and money?

Tough guy- just give it a try.......you never know what is going on that you can not see!!!!

Attitudes like this is why I always envy the Southwest employees when I fly on them......as the pax are deplaning, the flight attendants are behind the pax cleaning the vacant rows, then when the ground grew gets on board, they jump in and help the f/a's.....all to get the a/c turned around...

Just to be more specific -(FOR DFW)- there are 6 Pax Serv MOD's- zero vacancies, and 4 Ramp Svc MOD's, with 2 unfilled, delayed replacement vacancies....

Bottom line- if you or I are laid off, the company has to go on.....you will get your severance, and while on lay off, you can apply for any AA vacancy you see on JETNET.....of course you will have to give back your severance, and as mentioned earlier, flexibilty, CS, OT, etc...etc... Even...
