    Ec120

Well, now Mr. 407 I'm pretty excited to see that Jet Ranger perfornin' at 17,000 feet!! I know we used to service some repeater sites around Invermere at ~10,000 with a pretty decent 206B3 and didn't do real bad, but 17,000??? Ya gotta be kiddin'!!! Course the 120 won't be doin' much either...

    Helicopter Engineers & Pilot Association

Sounding better all the time..... I think over time we can come to a consences (sic) on a name for the group; right now I think everyone is doing the proper thing just keeping the ball rolling!! For what it's worth, I think it would be better if we can keep the word Canadian out of the name...

    Helicopter Engineers & Pilot Association

Way to go Don. Let me know where to fill out the application for membershp! And no, let's just keep it Canadian, at least for now. If we don't, well it wouldn't be long before we were out numbered by the Americans, nothing against their industry, but we are an entirely different world me...

    Lama Question

Yes, all three are connected. I believe they are "safety cables" in case a damper lets go. We had the same setup on the Alouette II and IIIs. 'Coures, that might be because the Lama is a cross of the 2...... ;)

    The Canadian Helicopters Shaft

Funny, I can't think of anything really that Canadian has given the industry except maybe keep tarrifs artificially low and cause a lot of really good companies go out of business.......... Thoughts???

Camps - great, bad and weird

Ya, what was it with the French? See my comment on Geoterrex above. Maybe the didn''t understand the north or??? Was in a US Steel camp with tents on Quartzite Lk in the NWT and what a difference! So, I don''t think it''s what the accomodataions are, but more of an attitude thing......

Camps - great, bad and weird

Worst camp was maybe Geoterrex on Maguse in the NWT.... All summer, two wall tents, we had to do our own cooking and the weather was the sh 1 ts..... Not sure about the best.... Jenpeg in the early days wasn''t to bad, but so were a lot of the others! Hey, did ya hear...... They''ve started...
