I was in PHX last week while doing my fleet service training, and we were told that the EMB 190 was going to replace the 737-300's. Don't know any more than that or even del. dates.

I know of one airline that is going with this plan. As the plane comes due for heavy check, since its a leased plane, return it and take delivery of a new plane. A one for one trade off. This came right from the COO.

Thanks guys. I have done all that, plus refueled planes, ground equipment, cleaned the cabin, & catered the planes. So I guess the week of training will be boring. Oh well a week away from the family anyway. B)

Just an update, I have been cleared to work for US Airways, MSP Fleet Services. I am waiting for a date to start training in PHX. Many have said to work someplace else. To that I say, too bad. I am very head strong and when I want something I go for it. I hope to be able to make a difference...
