    You can kind of sell a week also. Unused PPT can be cashed out once a year. You can't do that with holidays or vacation days. Those are use or lose each year. You can roll over H9 into the next Jan though.

    In Tech Ops there are quite a few that are pre 1988 DOH. Most would not be affected by ajusted DOE from 7.5 or any other layoffs I would suspect. Some are relocated due to those layoffs.

    What are you talking about? Delta Tech Ops is staffed mostly by DL employees. Everyone with a DL id has the same benifits as the rest of the company. We are not split off from the rest of the airline. The name is mostly a MRO branding move.

    DL is doing the NW PW2000 and I think the A320/A319 engines inhouse. Not sure about the big bus or the 747.

    The 737-700 also has better hot high performance than the -800 or the -900. I recall they were intially purchased just for a couple of Latin Am routes that were too low capacity demands to warrent using the 757 hot rod. Also I think the -900 are going to be ETOPS.

    I'm pretty sure at DL we will not have a big cook out like in the past. Last year our new manager for the hangar started just before AMT Day and rumor has it he was beside him self when he saw the lack of productivity on that day.
