It's a little late, but has anything been done to get the furloughed folks a little holiday cheer this year? My understanding is the CAL pilot group had enough donations from their active members to get each furloughed pilot a $25 gift card. Has the US pilot group done anything similar?

Don't have my manuals at home, but the build date on all the aircraft on the Piedmont certificate is listed in section D of the ops specs. Curiosity will have me checking it out when I get back to slavery... err.... I mean work.

I'd bet you that ATR throws in all sorts of stuff with a deal for those things. Quite possibly a sim, spares, etc. If the ATR turns out to be the choice, you won't see much change in our route structure. We might pick up some of the CLT flying we lost when half the -300s were sent up north...

So what do ya'll think? What type of RJ will be doing the flying? Where will the fuel stops be? What will the weight restrictions be? Will LaChoy place their ads on the tray tables? Will the flight attendants pass out fortune cookies with whether your bags made the flight in them? Will those...

I certainly appreciate the welcome, but there is still some work to do on finalizing the agreement before we'll be flowing up.
