That's not "unfair".  The people at AFW sat at their overhaul station with the week of Christmas off, holidays off, days and afternoons, etc.  while the line employees worked as line employees, holidays, night shift, out side, etc.  And then the AFW guys wanted different rules than everyone else...

It's an easy commute home to family and no state taxes/cost of living. Most people who need to bump are in survival mode so DFW has the best survival atmosphere.

Very, very few. The ones I know about were grandfathered decades ago or they lost their license and a deal was cut to let them do support work like ladders and bikes. But there is talk of SRP (or whatever they are calling them in this contract) doing interiors on B cks and I cks.

I agree. Just go by classification/occupational DOH and be done with it. Anything else will be a mess. Just like the one we created with TWA. The date you rolled your box onto the hangar floor and started turning wrenches, thats your date.
