As far as US being kicked out of STAR is concerned, remember that AC is an investor, and LH has given support as well. They want US in, and will outweigh UA.

That would be a shame...Frontier's doing great just the way it is, and while they are an LCC obviously, they have a better perception than the average low-fare. I don't want the image tainted by Virgin. Ugh.

Yeah, they have some gate space open in the International D Concourse, but does WN want to fork over the cash needed to make these gates actually operational? A number of them aren't completed yet. The rent for these international gates is also higher. The rest of the airport is full. Bummer.

My God people, can you not find something better to do with your time then complain about every damn thing? If they didn't do this, I'm sure you'd all be whining about how US has so many Caribbean flights but they don't advertise them. Get off it! Maybe if the amount of energy spent bitching...

I don't believe this, but someone's bound to say it, so I'll get it out of the way: US probably requested it so they'd have a legitimate reason for late flights.
