Will it succeed this time or just become "People's Distress" again?

And why did they move OCC there after cutting over 450 flights, thus reducing quality of the non-rev benefits for more than 500 employees who now compete with hundreds or former crew for what few seats remain! Especially when the deals CLT and PHX were offering US for moving OCC were far more...
LOL if the deal included moving OCC to Orlando rather than Pits-burgh(spelling intended) I will gladly welcome such a merger with open arms!!
In all seriousness a AA/US merger is the only sensible merger mainly to reduce competition/capacity! A US/B6 could also do such a thing though it would...
Let's add the third kind of person: the one like my friend who had to relocate to PIT or face unemployment! She really doesn't want to be there as the locals are very hostile if you don't want to wear black and gold (she's a Ravens fan) and hates the brutal winters! Not to mention the fact that...

Must be a response to DL's DC expansion. IMHO it would have been nice if US returned LGA to FLA flying although I realize that may not have been profitable (I doubt any FLA flying these days is with WN and...
I don't put much stock in an article which suggests a DL-US acquisition(see page 2 paragraph 1). Do these people really think the DOJ would allow two of the largest east coast carriers to combine? AA and Oneworld have a much better chance of acquiring US and IMHO this is what will ultimately...
Here's something really positive about US:

Maybe we'll even see a profit sharing check next year if we keep this up! Congrats to all the front-line employees who made this happen!

In regards to the 4th paragraph, I think FARs 91.3 and 121.535 determine who has the final authority as to fuel and AMR management needs to get that through their head.
End of story.
I may be wrong but I think one of the requirements to hold an ATP certificate(if he was a PIC) is to be "of good moral character". Technically then he could lose his ATP as for most people taking inappropriate pics of teens hardly constitutes being a "good moral character".
Just my $.02...

It would be interesting to see the pictures supposedly taken of the incident, and whether the celebrities on board will relay their stories!
There were rumors that Airbus was pitching a "standing room only" seating configuration to some airlines. A few years ago it was reported on several news outlets and then quickly denied by Airbus. Wouldn't surprise me if Airbus, Boeing, or one of the airlines had secretly looked into the...
Not good that we have any kind of loss! But considering the horrible weather that clobbered ops this winter, and especially the issues at DCA with the flooding and winter weather, it could have been a lot worse!
Here's hoping the next few Qs are good to us and fuel prices stay reasonable! The...
Groan! Call me prudish but I'm getting a little tired of the gazillion hours on TV devoted to sex lives of flight attendants, celebrities, accountants, etc. This glut of reality shows giving everyone "15 minutes of fame" is bringing TV to the ultimate "wasteland" it was called decades earlier...
