Umm .the poster was probably referring to the fact that sick calls spike every year during the holidays. In general, there are several that get pissy about working on holidays--even though they voluntarily took jobs in an industry that operates every day of the year.

Why have these pilots not been fired? It doesn't matter WHAT they were doing during this time--the fact is they missed their airport. In any other job, a person would be fired immediately for a failure as big as this one.

That's fine. Nobody will expect you to marry someone of hte same sex, and nobody will expect your church to perform weddings for same sex couples. Just dont try to tell others how to live.

Will allowing gay people to marry each hurt anyone else's marriage? No. Will allowing gay people to marry diminish anyone's religious freedoms, or other freedoms, in anyway? No. Will allowing gay people to marry have any negative effect on anyone's life? No. Big picture.
