I had the extreme pleasure to have multiple new hires on their training flights over the past month. They were all fantastic. I can't wait to work with them online. I'd rather work with them than some of the people we currently work with.

Not to be a debbie downer, "... be stowed prior to closing the aircraft door" is correct. It's a tense called "present subjunctive". I learned English as a second language and spent a lot of time with this tense... not trying to be a smarty pants, just informative :)

Our (US) B757 crew rest to Europe is the BEST! The last row, sharing the wall with the aft jumpseat so that whenever someone gets up from the jumpseat, the entire row of seats shake. Blah!

Travelpro... you're right. I do the same thing and other flt attns look at me like I'm crazy. It takes 2 minutes to do, and the CP are thrilled that I took the time to go up to them.

Travelpro- you said it all! Speaking of napkins, I wonder if Tempe has ever considered just keeping a roll of toilet paper on the cart and giving everyone 1 sheet (single ply of course). That would save money. That would fit in with the US product.

This flight did operate as an A330 on March 1st and March 2nd. It seems that yesterday & today are the first days it has been downsized. If USAirways did not have the authority to land this plane there, would they have allowed it on the 1st and 2nd? Not being smart, just asking. ~Spanglish

When I work trans atlantic- I bring the Chairman's and other high levels of FF the amenity kits from envoy. It always puts a smile on faces.

Are you for real? Free flying is one of the only good perks around here. And yes, a $30 charge will hurt the employees since we barely make above minimum wages.

For all of the US employees, this is a replay of the DL/US merger last year. No matter how anyone speculates this will/ won't happen... it's not in the employee's hands. All it's going to do on the message boards is make each company's employees hate each other. :down:

Everyone can rationalize or speculate however they like or come up with whatever different scenario but what's going to happen will happen. No matter how many employees want it or don't want it, it's not in the employee's hands. Instead of getting all bent out of shape on here, just sit back...

One time there was a 1 day in by 3pm for December 24th and said "Hey Reserves, pick up this trip and you're guaranteed off Christmas!" Oh really??? lol! How bout that time the one f/a wrote "FOR BLOCK HOLDERS ONLY!"

PHLfa, in general, you are more of a "hate-monger" on these boards than anyone else I've seen. I'm sure most everyone would agree with me. On another note, does anyone know where there is a printout of the voting totals for each candidate?

Actually she was an awesome flight attendant and a great supervisor. She is my supervisor- she doesn't bother you with all of the little crap the other supervisors bother you with. She is real and I like her. Don't talk smack about her on here.
