        Not yet, but they certainly are playing the "woe is me" card trying to gain the AA pilots sympathy.  There were a few East guys on there for the last few days. But the West guys came in full force yesterday. They are really starting to flood the board...

      Agreed. It's interesting to hear their real tone about certain issues. It seems to be different than what some feel on here...   I imagine only the DCA and CLT pilots have access at this point. The PHL pilots should be along soon, closely followed by PHX.

      The 767's are covering some of the 330 flying. Not sure on the PHL schedules, but in CLT we are doing BCN for a few weeks. Then we start CDG  after that for a few weeks. And with Rio gone until December, I think the flying is covered while they cycle through the paint shop...

      Yep. The very FIRST contract ALPA ever negotiated and signed was for American Airlines in 1939. They didn't leave ALPA until 1963.

      I'm not sure if this is true, and I have no reason to doubt it. But if they did, I'm sure it was for political cover. They probably knew 100% that if he was there, he would be stricken. So why not say "hey, we even tried to get the man himself?"

      I think this will go to arbitration, but not the way people think. My guess is the merger committees will indeed come to an agreement on the list. There will be some relatively small issue (fences maybe) that will be put before the arbitrators to rule on. They will make a decision on that...
